The Aquanauts' program has been designed specifically for children ages 3 to 5. Your child must be toilet trained. A member of RCI's Youth Staff is always on supervision for all activities, including: Coupons and Prizes - Every time Aquanauts participate in Adventure Ocean activities they earn Adventure Ocean coupons. At the end of the cruise vacation kids can trade their coupons in for cool Adventure Ocean prizes! The Explorers' program features a bit more advanced game-time fun than the Aquanauts program. All Explorers' activities are complete with adult supervision by Youth Staff and include: Coupons and Prizes - Every time Explorers participate in Adventure Ocean activities they earn Adventure Ocean coupons. Great Prizes - Teens are given an Adventure Ocean Credit Card when they participate in activities for the first time. They continue to earn credit as they participate and at the end of the Cruise vacation they can cash in their credit for cool Adventure Ocean prizes! Each of Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean Staff members holds a four year degree from an accredited College or University in Education, Recreation or related major, an extensive background in working with large groups of youth ages 3-17, and 3-5 years working in team situations. Also required are 3-5 years of experience working in school/community sponsored youth programs or summer camps. Certifications in CPR and Basic First aid are also required. Some of the Youth Staff even speak Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Cantonese. Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean staff are handpicked for their ability to engage and entertain youth of all ages. Their job is to make sure that all your kids have a great time, and meet new friends in a safe, healthy, stimulating environment.
